There's a pretty good sized gift shop on the ground floor (but indicated as L3 in lifts) well stocked with reasonably priced good quality souvenier handicrafts, postcards, boxed confectionery and fruits, T-shirts and yukatas.
Soaked in both Hot Baths that are for single sex; swopped between sexes on alternate days. Above is the bigger one. All lotions, shavers, combs etc provided but you have to bring drying and modesty towels from your room. Blue curtained for men and Red curtained for women. Attendant to help and point you to the correct correct curtain door.
The bigger hot bath room has 2 hot baths.
There are two "outdoor" hotbaths (above and below), leading off the 2 hot bath rooms. Roofed but not windowed.
And then there is the rooftop hot tub. There is a 1800Yen charge for 45 minutes' private use. Two short flights of stairs to the roof. Best to book in evenings when it's not freezing cold though snowing, take a hot shower in the ablution area, wrap up in towel and yukata, and make your way up quickly.
