We had the mountain view Japanese style room with bathroom and toilet onsen (hot spring) plan dinner and breakfast included. Meals were in the first storey dining rooms (four tables per dining room). Guests had a table in the same dining room throughout their stay.
Kaiseki dinner nightly. Nice. Interesting dishes. Additional dishes were served as we finish those on the table. Varied dishes each night.
One is supposed to enjoy the dishes in a certain order ie 1 dish in front, 2 dish at side (left I think), 3 dish on right, 4 dish above the front dish, etc. But it was more fun to pick from whichever dish we fancied. Sometimes it was necessary this way to balance off the taste from each dish.

This curled fish was really salty every time it was served. And full of tiny bones !
Wonderful 'must try' experience.
